- Local 2 Player versus: This innovative two-player mechanic allows players to sit across from each other and take turns attempting to score. It evokes a nostalgic "old school arcade" vibe and is particularly enjoyable on larger screens like tablets.
- Tournament Mode: The game supports 1-6 human players and offers a single elimination bracket system. Progress can be saved and resumed at any time, allowing for convenient gameplay sessions.
- 3 Unique Challenges with Score tracking: Players can take on three unique challenges while keeping track of their scores:
- Shred the Defense: A progressively challenging game where players must fling the football towards a receiver on the field while dealing with defending players who randomly move to block its path. Players have 8 seconds per turn and 4 downs per score.
- Two Minute Drill: The aim is to score as many touchdowns as possible within a two-minute time frame. Each score moves the ball further away from the goal, providing an increasingly exciting challenge.
- Field Goal Frenzy: Players must aim to score as many field goals as possible without missing any. This challenge tests precision and accuracy.
- Customizable Controls: The game allows players to customize pointer offset and ball impact force within the settings menu. This ensures optimal gameplay experience tailored to individual devices.
- "8-bit" retro-style art and sound: Pixel Push Football features charming visuals and nostalgic sound effects that capture the essence of classic arcade games.
